Handcrafted Crosses made from Horse Shoe Nails
Global Handcrafters is the exclusive distributor of these unique crosses which are worn all over the world for over 20 years. They are currently sold in retail stores, camps, retreat and conference centers. They are also purchased by Churches of all denominations for choirs, Pastors and lay assistants. The smaller crosses are often given for confirmation and are very popular with the teens. these crosses are made in the United States and all proceeds of the sales support Global Handcrafters Mission.
Mustad nails for shoeing horses are used to make these crosses. The nails are cut to length, laid out on bricks and brazed in the center. They are then realigned and laid face down on bricks so the rings and eyes can be attached. The carbon is removed with acid and the crosses are polished and dried in tumblers, and finally dipped in polyurethane.
